Things NOT to Go Cheap On

I can be notoriously cheap. I refuse to pay good money for products that are only going to be flushed down the toilet, literally. However, there are some things my husband refuses to let me purchase frugally. I may be using Suave, nasty shampoo but my garbage bags are the best money can buy!

Here's the Line-Up:
Q-Tips-(I'm not even allowed to use the generic name of cotton swab.) If you do not buy the real thing you run the risk of "the ineffective-no-fluff-kind" that spear out ear wax and the "overly-fluffy-kind" that leave you deaf because the cotton continues to swab long after it has been removed.

Toilet Paper-My husband's direct quote is something like this "Those Pooh Bears know what they are talking about, don't buy that industrial strength crepe paper crap!" There are many things wrong with this statement I know. What happened, is in a moment of "green" weakness, I bought "Earth's Best" TP from Costco. There is a reason it is $10 cheaper than anything else, it makes elementary school TP seem upscale.

Garbage Bags-They HAVE to have ties/handles you can knot and your hand should not be visible through the liner! If I fail to provide I take out the trash and that's no fun, because the cheap-o bags break and then I have to pick up rubbish. Ewwww. Did I mention I live with two toddlers?

Paper Towels-What's the point of buying cheap ones? If you buy thin, non-quicker, cleaner-uppers you go through twice as many so there is no true savings and mucho headache. Save yourself one less drama.

So,
What do you refuse to "Go Cheap On?"

In the spirit of name changing, my husband's name is now...

and my name is

SHAQUIRA IZMA

we came up with these last night, it was a little late.

So, what would you like to change your name to?

Corporate Law

I got this figured out...

Everyone needs to know their niche and responsibilities right? Well here is a breakdown of our familial hierarchy...

Chief Executive Officer-my husband
I'll give him that. Dr. Laura would be proud. But before you worry that I've left my bra-burning days behind forever, you should understand that it's really just an honorary title and he knows it BECAUSE...

I am the President of Production and I don't mean reproduction, I simply mean if something needs to get done, I do it. Why wouldn't I? I'm on the job, on sight, on call 24/7 (I hate that terminology but it gets the point across.) I would be worthless if I wasn't in charge.

So this got me thinking...

Does that mean the children are my employees? And if they are, does that entitle me to all rights and privileges bosses have over their subordinates because I would like to FIRE one of my unruly little subjects!
hmmm?

What privileges do you have as boss?
